The daydreamtones are an instrumental indie-pop band that revives the nostalgic feeling of the endless, carefree days of pop.
The soft and melancholic sound of the daydreamtones is created by long reverberant, overlapping guitars, free bass, glockenspiel, violin, synth and reduced cardboard drums.
Minimalist song structures and a simplicity reminiscent of bands such as Felt or The Relict meet the dreaminess of 90s twee-pop like The Field Mice.
In April 2017, the daydreamtones recorded their debut album, live and without overdubs, in the Milberg Studios in Stuttgart. Mix and mastering by Ralv Milberg.
The music of the album creates an atmosphere of nostalgia, reminiscent of the lazy summer days of our youth - evoking a feeling of warm colors and the flickering of old Super 8 movies.
